Diese Tauchschule hat es uns angetan. Sie liegt sehr entspannt direkt am Strand mit einem kleinen Tresen, so dass man dort einfach gut seine Zeit verbringen kann. Die Ausrüstung ist von solider Qualität, die Mitarbeitenden sehr nett, hilfsbereit und erfahren. Man bekommt immer seinen Kaffee und sogar häufig was zu essen - nicht nur bevor man tauchen geht. Es befindet sich immer Sauerstoff an Bord des Bootes und es wird auf Sicherheit vor und während des Tauchgangs geachtet. Ich habe hier mit Roy meinen OWD gemacht und habe viel von ihm gelernt. Es hat mir so sehr gefallen, dass ich nach zwei Wochen nochmal wiedergekommen bin, um noch mehr Tauchgänge mit den Leuten zu machen. Zur Begrüßung gab es erstmal ein BBQ und eine kleine Party. Beste Tauchschule ever!

Una experiencia genial, hemos buceado en muchos sitios por toda asia y nos encantó este centro, muy limpio, material muy bien cuidado, personal amable y muy profesional, inmersiones bonitas, buceamos con Upeksha y fue fantástico, estuvo todo el tiempo pendiente, además de buen profesional una persona muy divertida y amigable con la que compartimos unos momentos inolvidables en nuestras vacaciones. Als absolute Anfänger haben wir uns nach dem ersten Tauchgang direkt entschieden, das Open Water Zertifikat zu machen – und es war die beste Entscheidung! Das Team ist super freundlich, professionell und sorgt jederzeit für ein sicheres Gefühl. Die Tauchspots waren top gewählt, wir haben viele Tiere gesehen und jede Minute genossen. Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die in Trincomalee tauchen möchten!

Realizamos fan Dive con esta empresa y puedo decir que no os vais a arrepentir. Es como si fuera tu propia familia. Tuve problemas con mi máscara y el divemaster no dudo en hacer un intercambio con la que él llevaba puestas. La vida marina es muy rica en la zona, pero sobre todo el trato. Durante la explicación grabé y se me olvidó el móvil en lo alto del taburete de la terraza, al terminar las inmersiones (4 horas) seguía en el mismo sitio y ellos me dijeron que allí solo se perdía el tabaco. 🤣🤣 Espero volver pronto

As a first time diver, Roy and his team made me feel super comfortable and safe whilst I took my SSI qualification! Everyone was so welcoming and kind, with professional, thorough training and demonstrations. The dives themselves were amazing, seeing lots of fish, turtles, octopus etc! We loved that everyone in the team respected the sea life so much, and never took anything back with them that isn’t trash! Would recommend to anyone, we were sad to leave! 🙂

I had the best time at Sri Lanka Dive School and was so so sad to be leaving after my few days completing my SSI Open Water course! 🤩 Roy and the team are amazing and super helpful. A diving school that takes things seriously, follows safety regulations and lets you enjoy yourself. For ‘discover scuba diving’ courses, they give a good briefing so that you can be more independent and dive more safely, unlike other centres that hold on to your vest because they don't explain anything.

Yo hice un bautismo con ellos y la verdad me encantó. Primero fue una pequeña clase teórica, luego una serie de ejercicios con la equipación cerca de la orilla y luego la inmersión como tal. La verdad encantada con la experiencia y con el personal. Mi amiga hizo inmersión sin bautismo ya ella tiene el curso avanzado y también estuvo encantada.

Haben zunächst nur einen Schnupper Tauchgang gemacht. Der hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir direkt im Anschluss den open water gemacht haben. Man hat sich stets sicher in den Händen der instructor gefühlt. Diese sind super nett absolute Profis. Die Boote sowie die Tauchgeräte sind super in Schuss und wirken sehr modern. Würden es direkt wieder hier machen.🤩

You won’t find a better diving experience than this. This was my first time diving and the instructors Maria.Meleena, Upeksha, Roy, sudesh and lakshan were amazing, very informative, and effishant ;-), we were able to get down to the reef in the first half hour and feel comfortable and confident. What a trip. memorable and brilliant. Not to mention the shop itself is a work of art.

Самая лучшая школа. Не зная англ, меня смогли научить погружаться. Объяснили, помогали во всём, под водой инструктора не сводили глаз с меня, каждую секунду были рядом. Безумно благодарна им за такую невероятную возможность, теперь готова погружаться и снова и снова. Но хочется именно к ним, потому что, за ними как за каменной стеной, но под водой 🤗 Мне даже на трансфер нужно было успеть раньше, чем заканчивалось второе погружение, меня подняли, и увезли к отелю👍 Таких красивых рыб, я видела только в мультиках и передачах, а благодаря ребятам, особенно Мадуре, я видела это всё своими глазами, трогала, и даже остались классные фото и видео👍👍👍 Дополню отзыв 10.09.25г Поехала к ребятам второй раз закрывать OWD, и не перестаю говорить, что это ЛУЧШАЯ ШКОЛА на Шри Ланке. Безопасность просто на 1000%, всегда под присмотром инструкторов, разбор полётов и моих вопросов всегда был по пунктикам, что зачем, почему (напомню знание англ у меня 0, но мы все справились). Самые клёвые ребята на свете👌 Они как одна большая семья, так приятно общаться со всеми. Я обязательно вернусь к вам 💋

Absolutely amazing experience! Went for Open Water course and we are leaving so satisfied! The Boss and every instructor is super kind, friendly and pro! Even if it’s only three days you gonna try so many situations and see so many fishes,murena, rays and turtles! Also Free ice cream and water between dives. Every question will be answered and explained! No matter how stupid it sounds. Dive instructors are happy for every dive and very patient for every student. Great diving place for all levels. We came here so that my girlfriend could do a diving baptism, and she eventually decided to go on and take the full open water certificate. The staff is very skilled and professional and the diving spots are super nice, we got to see a lot of water fauna and corals.

Great experience, the staff is chill and relax but very pro at the same time. First dive for my kids since they got their PADI, they received an excellent refresher.

A brilliant dive school in Trinco. I did my Advanced course here, and my partner the open water course. The instructors and dive centre staff were welcoming, kind and friendly, all while being excellent teachers, demonstrating ample experience. The dive locations we went to were great - beautiful reefs and a cool Navy wreck. They offer great flexibility, with a combination of e-learning and dives over days that worked for us! The dives were also longer, giving plenty of time to do skills assessments and see lots of incredible underwater wildlife! 10/10 recommend diving with Sri Lanka Dive School 🙌

These guys are great. We stayed right behind the dive shop for several days and dove with them for 3. Roy, Upe, Sadeesh, and the rest of the crew were fantastic to dive with. They’re all passionate about diving. Fun without being reckless and safe without being boring. Saw too many eels to count. Navy museum and Bus Station are cool and fun. Totally diving with this shop next time I’m in town. Thanks guys

Ich habe hier erfolgreich meinen SSI Advanced Kurs absolviert. Das Team der Tauchschule hat mich professionell unterstütz und gleichzeitig aber auch gefordert. Die Ausrüstung war super und die obligatorische Eispause zwischen den Tauchgängen ein Träumchen! Auch der Umgang mit meiner Freundin, welche Tauchanfängerin ist war absolut spitze! Ingesamt kann ich es nur empfehlen die Unterwasserwelt Sri Lankas zu erkunden und das am besten mit dieser Tauchschule! 💪🏼☺️ Ps: hier kann man nicht nur Englisch, sondern auch Deutsch verstehen!

Wir hatten tolle drei Tage mit Roy‘s Team und können allen diese Tauchschule von ganzem Herzen empfehlen. Ich habe mich als Tauchanfängerin sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt, mir wurde alles ausführlich erklärt und auch auf meine Ängste wurde eingegangen, ohne dass ich mir dumm vorkam - danke! Mein Freund hatte eine gute Zeit während seines dreitägigen advanced Kurses und konnte die Unterwasserwelt rundum Trincomalee entdecken. Die Kommunikation verlief auch super unkompliziert und es wurde flexibel auf Wünsche eingegangen. Das Team ist super herzlich und man hat hier definitiv eine gute Zeit mit erfahrenen Tauchlehrern! (Der Strand, an dem die Tauchschule liegt, ist zudem auch sehr schön und lädt zum relaxen ein).

Wonderful experience! We had a great time and had really cool dives. Everybody is very relaxed, likes to help you and gives perfect instructions for either your Padi course or a Fundive. All the people are very friendly and it feels like one big family. We had Nim as our instructor, what a cool guy. 10/10 would recommend!

I had the best experience there!! I did my PADI open water diver course there and had so much fun while still learning a lot. The instructors are amazing, they were flexible when it came to timing - I already had some plans and there wasn’t any problem with doing the course with my limited time. I learned a lot from my instructor- Nim but also had a great time during the dives. Everyone was very warm and open so when I had any questions they always managed to answer them the best they could. I recommend it to anyone who wants a great time diving!

I just completed my open water PADI and it was a truly fantastic experience! Our padi instructor, Nim, was excellent: a serious and patient teacher. The theory part was solid, the exercices and the dives were a great experience. During our 5 dives, I completed the course and we saw turtles, rays, and a lot of beautiful fish and corals. A fantastic place to dive, very friendly staff and they are dedicated to protect the environment. An other great point.

Diese Tauchschule ist sehr empfehlenswert. Ich hatte hier heute meine allerersten Tauchgänge und meine Freundin brauchte nach ein paar Jahren einen Refresher. Wir haben uns beide super aufgehoben und sicher gefühlt. Alle Mitarbeitenden sind sehr gewissenhaft und geduldig, sie erklären alles sehr genau. Das Equipment ist in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die Tauchspots wurden entsprechend der Wetter-/Wasser-Bedingungen und gemäß unserer Bedürfnisse ausgewählt. Das Riff war toll - lebendig, viele Korallen und Fische, sogar eine Schildkröte haben wir gesehen. Besonderer Dank geht an Nim, mit dem wir heute getaucht sind! Er hat uns sogar fotografiert und gefilmt hat und es uns im Nachgang kostenlos zugeschickt. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen.

He runs the place with heart and it really shows. And a huge thank you to my dive guide Madura, who was not only professional and knowledgeable but also a great person to spend time underwater with. Super Tauchschule, absolut zu empfehlen. Hier wird sehr auf Sicherheit und die Zufriedenheit aller geachtet. Wir sind als Gruppe mit ganz unterschiedlichen Taucherfahrungen gekommen und Roy und sein Team haben es möglich gemacht das wir die ganze Zeit zusammenbleiben/tauchen konnten und nach jahrelanger Tauchpause erstmal mit einer theoretischen Wiederholung starten konnten. Das Equipment ist auch top in Schuss und sehr neu. Besonders Sadeesh als Tauchlehrer war wirklich super!

Ganz tolles Team! Sehr nett und verantwortungsvoll. Es hat großen Spaß gemacht!

Did a beginner's dive this morning. The whole process was great, the training felt very thorough, our instructor (Sadeesh I think, sorry probably getting the spelling very wrong) was brilliant and really patient. We could go at our own pace the whole day. The dive was great, saw the best coral I've ever seen and loads of fish and a couple of turtles. Would recommend to everyone

I just did my Open Water Diver certificate here. Instructors are gold. They are true professionals, explain everything in details and are very patient (feel free to ask'em anything they will answer you). They're obviously passionated and it's shown from multiple ways. As I said, they're really implicated in their job. Also, there's high quality and variety of equipments here, cleaned everyday and maintained every weeks. Diving spots are really beautiful, you can see a lot of fish species and also dive throught small ruin and beside a shipwreck. Well I definitely highly recommend this diving school for any type of dives, as well for fun than for a certification, and thanks my instructors so much for their patience and adaptation with me.

Superbe école de plongée ! Le personnel est génial, à la fois aidant en plongee et sur le coté médical (douleur au oreille) les prix sont en dessous du marché, 35$ par plongée loisir, 375$ pour un diplome. L'équipement est le plus neuf que jai pu tester, tout est renouvelé régulièrement et super bien maintenue. Le site d'épaves, avec statues, canon et char, est particulièrement grandiose, et disponible pour tous les niveaux. Vraiment une école de plongée au top !

Our instructor, Rohitha Indika, was absolutely fantastic — calm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He guided us through every step of the course with patience and care, making us feel safe, confident, and well-prepared. The entire team was super friendly and created a relaxed, supportive atmosphere that made learning to dive not only easy but genuinely fun. The practical sessions were perfectly paced and well-structured, with a great balance between training and real underwater exploration. We were lucky to dive at some stunning spots along the coast of Trincomalee, where we saw turtles, dolphins, and moray eels — a magical experience we’ll never forget. Every dive felt like a small adventure, and the beauty of the underwater world here is breathtaking. Huge thanks to Rohitha and the entire crew for an amazing time — we can’t wait to come back and dive with you again!

Es wird auf jeden eingegangen und auf die einzelnen Stärken und Schwächen geachtet. Sowohl für Einsteiger als auch für Fortgeschrittene ein toller Ort um zu lernen. 10/10 absolute Empfehlung

I had a really good experience doing my diving course here. The atmosphere is relaxed and easy-going, which made learning enjoyable. They have boats and take you to a range of different dive sites, so there’s some nice variety. I did my course with Sadeesh, who was a great dive master — clear in his explanations, patient, and just a genuinely nice person to dive with. The school is right on the beach, close to lots of hotels and restaurants, so it’s a convenient spot if you're staying in the area. Overall, a solid choice for anyone looking to get into diving.

Fantastic experience!! We dived again for the first time in nearly 10 years and this was the best place to do it. The owner Roy is a super cool guy and all the instructors we met, especially our dive masters Sadeesh and Upek were kind and extremely experienced and professional. They take away any worries you have and when you are underwater it’s just pure magic and fun with them pointing out all the marine life! Hopefully we get to come back soon!! Wir waren mit dieser Tauchschule einmal schnorcheln und dann später noch mal tauchen und beides war fantastisch. Wir haben Schildkröten, viele Fische, eine Moräne und Tintenfische gesehen. 🙂 das Team ist super kompetent und freundlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Preis war sehr fair!

Ich habe bei dieser Tauchschule meinen AOW gemacht. Super nettes und rücksichtsvolles Personal. Spaß und Komfort stehen im Vordergrund!

Small scale local dive shop offering high quality service and a lot of fun, exactly what I look for in a dive shop! I did two days of diving with them and I can highly recommend it. The whole staff is very professional and really friendly. They are from the island and know the sea and the dive spots well. They really like to give their clients the best experience. It is not rushed at all, safety is thoroughly checked and dives are not ended at 45 min but dive times are based on the air consumption of the group. Thank you for the great time guys! Reservation up front is recommended!

Ich war dort zwei Tage, á 2 Tauchgänge pro Tag, tauchen. Ich kann die Tauchschule mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen. Das Equipment ist gut gepflegt und die Tauchlehrer sind sehr gut in ihrem Bereich und im Umgang mit ihren Tauschülern. Es gab während den Tauchgängen keinen Zeitdruck, jeder konnte sich an Board in Ruhe vorbereiten. Unterwasser wurde auf jeden Tauschüler geachtet und alle Sicherheits- sowie Umweltmaßnahmen eingehalten. Der Tauchschulenbesitzer ist sehr freundlich und drängt einen nicht unbedingt Tauchkurse oder Tauchgänge zu buchen. Ich habe für 2 Tauchgänge á 50-60 Minuten 70 USD gezahlt was ich für die Qualität mehr als okay finde.

ie Tauchschule von Roy bekommt von mir 10/10 !!! Da ich seit 20 Jahren nicht mehr getaucht bin hat Roy mit mir einen Refresh Kurs gemacht. Auf 1 Meter und später tiefer alle Übungen mit mir durchgeführt (wie beim OWD), dann ging es zum ersten Tauchgang mit Roy u.a durch Höhlen. Hat alles super geklappt. Die anschließenden Tauchgänge wurden mit einem dive Master in kleiner Gruppe (2 2er Teams) und in Ruhe durchgeführt. Habe mich immer sicher und sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Man hat sich immer Zeit genommen und ist auf jeden einzelnen eingegangen. Immer wieder wurde gecheckt ob alles okay ist. Bin mit Roy, Madura und Upej (dive Master) getaucht. Wirklich sehr gut!!! Zwischen den Tauchgängen gab es entweder Eis oder Bananen mit Keksen. Wasser zum Trinken gab es natürlich auch. Auch die Kapitän s auf beiden Booten ( Niroshan und Crishna) sind super nett und haben uns überall sicher hingefahren. Kann diese Tauchschule zu 100% weiterempfehlen (professionell und sehr freundlich). Liebe Grüße Daliah 💜 ich werde wieder kommen

The underwater visibility was great, and we spotted vibrant marine life and stunning reef structures. Highly recommend them for anyone visiting Trincomalee and looking to explore the ocean with a responsible and skilled crew. Very good instructor with very clear explanations. They took a lot of time for us. We felt very safe. We took the beginner course.

It was simply fantastic💚. An excursion into another world. Where you become completely calm inside and watch everything with wide eyes. The diving instructors were totally relaxed and explained everything calmly. This was my first dive, so I was a little nervous about it. But the instructors explained everything so well that I felt really comfortable. There was 1 to 1 support underwater, so I felt very safe. 1000 stars from me and if I am in Sri Lanka again I will come back.

We came for a diving discovery session and did the open water certification a day later. I never dived before, wanted a brief overview and directly fall in love with the underwater world. Key factor of our decision to do the certification was the amazing team around Rohitha and especially because of our amazing diving teacher Nim. We had lots of fun, super nice dives and an amazing time overall. For everyone interested in snorkeling or diving, warmest recommendations to do it with them!

Ich war zwei Tage lang tauchen, jeweils zwei Fun-Dives mit Pause und Snack dazwischen. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt, die Tauchplätze waren gut ausgewählt und der Vibe in der Tauchschule ist super. Ich komme gerne wieder hier her 🙂

Begin mei een week lang elke dag met deze fantastische duikschool gedoken. De eigenaar en het personeel zijn geweldig, professioneel, gezellig en spreken goed Engels. Hele professionele duikschool waarbij veiligheid voorop staat. Ik heb hier mijn advanced open water gehaald! Naast het duiken hingen wij elke dag bij deze duikschool rond voor de gezelligheid, de koffie en de gezellige feestjes. Absoluut de leukste duikschool van trincomalee! Kom hier zeker terug!

Самая лучшая школа. Не зная англ, меня смогли научить погружаться. Объяснили, помогали во всём, под водой инструктора не сводили глаз с меня, каждую секунду были рядом. Безумно благодарна им за такую невероятную возможность, теперь готова погружаться и снова и снова. Но хочется именно к ним, потому что, за ними как за каменной стеной, но под водой 🤗 Мне даже на трансфер нужно было успеть раньше, чем заканчивалось второе погружение, меня подняли, и увезли к отелю👍 Таких красивых рыб, я видела только в мультиках и передачах, а благодаря ребятам, особенно Мадуре, я видела это всё своими глазами, трогала, и даже остались классные фото и видео👍👍👍

My 8 year old daughter did a kids scuba session with Roy and we couldn't have been more thrilled with the experience. She had a wonderful time, felt totally comfortable and confident and saw a huge variety of fish.

The only SSI dive center in beautiful Trinco. They are super kind and shared coffee with me on a morning when I dropped by even though I wasn't diving that day

Ich war gestern mit Madura tauchen (Fundive). Super Typ. Wirklich tolle Spots. Alle sind super lieb und sehr professionell. Danke auch an den Inhaber Roy. Du hast mir von Anfang an ein gutes Gefühl gegeben. Gutes Equipment. Gute Stimmung. Sehr erfahrene Instuctors/Master die aus Leidenschaft tauchen. Ich würde wieder kommen.

fantastisch! De instructeurs zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en geven rustige, duidelijke uitleg, waardoor ik me echt op mijn gemak voelde tijdens de duiken. Het apparatuur was van topkwaliteit, en de onderwaterwereld van Sri Lanka is absoluut adembenemend. Zeker een aanrader voor zowel beginners als gevorderden!

I really enjoyed my diving sessions I’ve done with this school in Trincomalee! We did a couple of immersions and a bit of rest between then, in a cool beach! The guys are lovely! Really recommended!

Van de week 2 heerlijke duiken gehad met Sri Lanka Diveschool. De equipment is van goede kwaliteit, de divemasters weten waar ze het over hebben en er hangt een heerlijke, gastvrije sfeer. Bij aankomst 's ochtends kregen we roti, tussen de duiken door een ijsje en naderhand hadden we geluk want de vrouw van Roy, de eigenaar, had net curry gebracht. Tot slot werden we nog uitgenodigd om 's avonds een borreltje komen doen. De duiken waren mooi. We zagen onder andere schildpadden, veel murenen, veel pufferfish en nog veel meer. Ook was de duik naar het wrak van het oorlogsschip en andere wapens interessant.

Such a great diving school. Roy and the other instructors are kind, patient, and so much fun to hang out with. Equipment is in good condition, and the dive sites are beautiful, so many eels!!! And in the evening you can talk about the dive while having a local drink 🩷

Ich würde 100 Sterne geben! Der Inhaber ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Und sein Team einfach wirklich mega! Das Equipment ist wirklich super und Recht neu. Man bekommt eine super Einweisung und es werden auch wünsche oder sorgen ernst genommen. Ich hab Probleme mit den Pausen auf einem Boot zwischen den Tauchgängen, also sind wir in der Pause zum Strand gefahren. Für mich ein Traum! Preise sind super fair, Staff spricht wirklich gut Englisch, man wird gut aufgeklärt und vor allem ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt

Toller Schnorchelausflug! Wir waren an 2 Plätzen mit Stop am Strand für Tee und Roti. Unser Guide Niroshan hat uns viele Fische und Korallen gezeigt, er hat sogar eine Schildkröte für uns entdeckt! Wir empehlen diesen Ausflug gerne weiter! Margit und Harald
